Who We Are

NorCal Canine Connection is a dedicated community of volunteer, certified Therapy Dog teams based in Northern California. Our members come from diverse backgrounds—including certified dog trainers, educators, counselors, and veterans—united by a shared passion for the healing power of the human-canine bond.

We welcome teams from both national and local organizations, as well as individuals interested in learning how to become a certified dog team.

We believe that the connection between handler and dog is just as essential as the service our dogs provide. That’s why we emphasize professionalism, safety, and the well-being of both dogs and people through education, camaraderie, and continuous support for volunteers at all experience levels.

NorCal Canine Connection hosts regular events, including group outings with our dogs, social gatherings to foster meaningful connections, and workshops to encourage ongoing learning and skill-building.
